1. Acceptance
By downloading, registering for, or using ChunkFlow (“App”, “we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. The Service
ChunkFlow is a French-learning app that may include Explore coach chat, flashcard review, syntax tools, etymology, phoneme practice, profile features, and related functions. Some features use AI-generated content (your inputs may be processed by third-party model APIs such as DeepSeek) for learning support only and are not a guarantee of professional teaching, exam results, or translation accuracy.
3. Accounts
You may sign in with Apple, Google, or other methods we support. Keep your account secure. Do not use the App for unlawful, infringing, abusive, or disruptive activity. We may limit or terminate accounts for violations.
You may request account deletion in the App. There is typically about a 7-day grace period to restore the account; after that, data is deleted or anonymized as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. ChunkFlow Pro & Auto-Renewal
4.1 Pro unlocks paid features during an active subscription (e.g. continued Explore, review, syntax, etymology—as described in-app). Free users may receive limited allowances (for example a limited number of Explore messages).
4.2 Subscription: ChunkFlow Pro is an auto-renewing monthly subscription (about a one-month billing period). Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store. Prices follow your Apple ID storefront and what Apple and the App show at purchase confirmation.
4.3 Free trial: Eligible users may receive a 7-day free trial via Apple’s Introductory Offer. You are generally not charged for the subscription during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to a paid monthly plan, charged to your Apple ID at the then-displayed monthly price, and then renews monthly.
4.4 Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (including a trial period). Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or at Apple’s subscriptions page.
4.5 Cancellation & refunds: After cancelling, access usually continues until the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies. Contact Apple for billing issues, or email chunkflow42@gmail.com.
4.6 Restore: Use “Restore purchases” after reinstalling or switching devices; entitlement depends on Apple receipt validation.
5. Fair use & AI
We may apply rate or daily usage limits to prevent abuse. Content you submit for coaching may be sent to third-party APIs such as DeepSeek. AI output may be wrong or incomplete—do not rely on it for critical decisions. Do not submit unlawful or infringing content.
6. Intellectual property
The App’s software, branding, and original materials belong to us or our licensors. You retain rights in your own content and grant us a limited license to process it as needed to run the service.
7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The App is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (if any), subject to applicable law and Apple’s rules for App Store purchases.
8. Changes
We may update the App or these Terms. We may suspend or discontinue features for maintenance, legal, or operational reasons.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s habitual residence, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where you live.
